Recently, TikTok, one of the fastest-growing social media platforms in the world saw its first viral post about cryptocurrencies.
The post was created by Crypto and Bitcoin social media personality the Wolf of Bitcoins. Within hours, the post quickly gained about 160,000 likes and 2,500 comments.
The post was also brought to the attention of the crypto Twitter community, which hasn’t migrated to TikTok in large volume yet by Thomas Shulz. The Twitter post received an additional 43,500 views.
In response to the post’s virality the Wolf of Bitcoins had the following to say:
“Crypto currency should matter more to future generations than anybody else. My GPU video went viral because the younger generation already understands what GPU’s are and all I did was tie this back to Crypto mining.
In short, I saw a connection that already exists. Most of the younger generation right now do not understand or are not interested in crypto. We need to onboard new users to crypto currency in ways that excite them.

The Wolf of Bitcoins is also very popular on Instagram and Twitter.
This update marks an increased level of interest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from the TikTok community, an audience that previously had not responded positively to blockchain-related content.
